Is My Co-worker a JW?
by White Dove inin my nervousness, i inadvertently deleted a well thought out post.
here is the short version:.
my co-worker shuns me completely unless i ask him work related questions.. he treats everyone else nicely and jokes with them, but not with me.. he can't bring himself to even look in my direction.. when i walk up to the area he's in, he hightails it to somewhere else.

Branch offices in Europe are closing
by Samuel Thorsen ini have from a safe source that the bethel branch office in austria, ireland, italy and switzerland are closing down in the near future.
most of the business will be taken care of from the german bethel.
nothing is said thru official channels yet, but there is no reason to doubt my source.. can anyone tell more about this topic?.

Down again for the fourth month running.
Interesting they could not bring themselves to actually print the NUMBERS this month; they printed "One hundred and twenty-nine thousand and twenty-one shared in field service activity..."

Did the WT return to "old light" regarding the "overlapping" concept? Wt 9-1-52
by AndersonsInfo inrecently, i was sent the following information and asked--was i aware of the 1952 overlapping concept regarding the "generation" teaching?
did the watch tower return to "old light" ?

I'm surprised that they haven't reissued the book with "updates".
The reasoning book dates from 1989 and is still in use. In fact it is used in the Ministry School every week as the basic for one of the student talks. We do not get an annual TMS Schedule anymore, it is printed in the KM each week, though one is posted on the notice board. By November we will be up to page 204 so early next year we should be at P234, no doubt that section will be omitted.
Maybe next year we will get get a soft cover reprint (wide margins for annotations and changes??)

Kool-Aid WTs that have to be kept under lock and key
StAnn - Always a pile of spares at the back of our KH, anyone can help themselves and the fact that some publishers order 20 copies of the Study version shows members of the public are getting it. It is also freely available on the WT website to download.
I would agree about the CD-ROM though.

Where am I now? Just graduated, moved out, and planning a career that clashes with the org (Military related).
Good strategy planning JKL; do not be put off by posters such as witnessofjesus who tell you otherwise. All your TRUE friends will stay by you in this decision, only CONDITIONAL friends will shun you. Remember that!
